14 ChatGPT 6 Astra Prompts & Use Cases to Try Now

ChatGPT 6 Astra is here, and it could quite possibly be everything you were hoping for and possibly even more.

It’s already being described as one of the biggest ChatGPT updates ever, and some people are going much further. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has said “AGI has arrived,” while OpenAI President Greg Brockman has also framed Astra as potentially marking the start of the AGI era.

Personally, it made me upgrade to the $100/month ChatGPT plan. At least for now (I’m working on a secret new project).

AGI or not, Astra is built for much more than better answers. It can browse, use computers, code, research, work with files, and handle longer multi-step tasks.

That changes what ChatGPT 6 prompts can look like.

A lot of the ChatGPT Astra use cases below are business-oriented, but I’ve also included several personal ones with broad appeal.

I’ve labeled each one:

PERSONAL = mostly everyday use
BUSINESS = mostly work-related
BOTH = useful for either

Some of the more hands-on ChatGPT Astra prompts work best in ChatGPT Work or with connected plugins such as Gmail, Google Drive, and Calendar. And if a prompt involves sensitive information, just be careful. Remember, Sammy likes data, and I don’t think that’s going to change.

Here are some of the best 14 ChatGPT 6 Astra prompts and use cases.

Let’s party.

Prompt #1: Make Astra Renegotiate Your Bills

PERSONAL

Everybody hates negotiating bills. Actually, everybody hates paying bills, too. Anyway, try giving the negotiation job to the robot.

Copy/paste prompt
Make Astra Renegotiate Your Bills
Go through my recurring internet, phone, insurance, and software bills. Identify anything that looks overpriced, redundant, or unused. For providers with online chat support, attempt to negotiate a lower rate, ask about retention discounts, or find a cheaper plan that meets my needs. Do not cancel or purchase anything without my approval. At the end, show me the potential monthly and annual savings.

How to use it: This is a good candidate for ChatGPT Work because its cloud browser can navigate websites and interact with customer support chatbots. You may need to sign in yourself or approve certain actions along the way. And be careful. You don’t want AI to accidentally say things you don’t want it to say on your behalf.

Also, you don’t necessarily have to dump your entire financial life into ChatGPT. Give it the individual bills or account information it actually needs.

Prompt #2: Become a Facebook Flipper

PERSONAL

Facebook Marketplace is basically a giant digital garage sale containing everything from $5 lamps to people accidentally selling $1,000 cameras for $300.

Let’s go hunting.

Copy/paste prompt
Become a Facebook Flipper
Search Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and other relevant local marketplaces in [CITY] for [CAMERAS / FURNITURE / BIKES / SMARTPHONE / COMPUTERS / OTHER PRODUCT]. Compare listings against typical used-market prices and identify anything that appears to be listed at least 30% below a realistic resale value. Give me the listing, asking price, estimated resale value, potential profit, and any obvious risks. Prioritize genuinely mispriced products instead of cheap junk and provide me with the contact information for the listing.

Make it better: Run searches repeatedly for several products you really understand. You could also turn this into an automation or skill in Codex, turning yourself into a full-time Facebook hustler.

And don’t blindly trust an AI’s resale estimate. Check expensive purchases yourself before driving 45 minutes across town to meet some random guy behind a Walgreens.

Prompt #3: Turn ChatGPT Astra Into Your Browser Operator

BOTH

Think about some annoying, repetitive task you regularly do online.

Now assign it to Astra.

Copy/paste prompt
Turn ChatGPT Astra Into Your Browser Operator
Use the browser to complete this workflow: [DESCRIBE WORKFLOW]. Navigate the websites, gather the required information, complete appropriate forms, and document any problems or unnecessary steps you encounter. Ask for my approval before any purchase, submission, deletion, or irreversible action. When finished, give me the completed output, a repeatable SOP, and a plan for turning this workflow into a reusable AI agent, skill, or automation.

ChatGPT Work is built specifically for longer jobs like this. Its cloud browser can read websites, click buttons, fill forms, and work across supported signed-in sites.

You basically get the employee, process documentation, and automation consultant from one prompt.

Prompt #4: Find the Money You’re Quietly Wasting

BOTH

Subscriptions accumulate the way junk drawers accumulate dead batteries.

Copy/paste prompt
Find the Money You’re Quietly Wasting
Review my recurring expenses, subscriptions, software costs, payment processing fees, memberships, hosting, and other expenses I provide. Find duplicate services, unused subscriptions, suspicious price increases, bad pricing tiers, and expenses that appear disproportionate to the value they provide. Rank each opportunity by estimated annual savings and tell me exactly what I should investigate, downgrade, renegotiate, or eliminate.

For personal use, upload a limited list or export of recurring expenses.

For business use, you could include accounting exports, Stripe data, invoices, or software bills.

One obvious warning: Financial data is sensitive. If giving ChatGPT detailed bank transactions makes you uncomfortable, don’t. You can strip out account numbers and other unnecessary information or provide a basic list of recurring charges instead. Personally, I may never provide AI with my financial data, but then again, I said the same thing about smartphones.

Prompt #5: Give Yourself a Digital Chief of Staff

BOTH

The old way of doing things involved figuring out what you need to do next. The new way of doing things can now involve asking AI what you should do next.

Copy/paste prompt
Give Yourself a Digital Chief of Staff
Act as my digital chief of staff. Review my active projects, calendar, notes, emails, unfinished tasks, and priorities. Identify where my stated priorities don't match where I'm actually spending my time. Find stalled projects, unnecessary meetings, ignored opportunities, and commitments I should reconsider. Then create a prioritized plan for the next seven days with no more than five major objectives. Explain why each one made the cut.

This gets much better if you connect the services where your work lives.

For example, plugins can give ChatGPT authorized access to supported services and information. Depending on your setup, that could include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack, and other business tools.

Of course, connecting your inbox also means you’re giving ChatGPT access to information in your inbox. Review the permissions first.

Prompt #6: Build a One-Person Company Dashboard

BUSINESS

Even though we told you years ago that Run The Prompts has a full staff, Run The Prompts is actually just a one-person company.

That means I’m the CEO, marketer, writer, analytics guy, salesperson, janitor, and human punching bag.

Astra could potentially help tie all of that together for anyone running a one-person company.

Copy/paste prompt
Build a One-Person Company Dashboard
Review my business documents, notes, analytics, revenue data, customer feedback, project list, and other relevant information I provide. Build a weekly operator dashboard showing what is making money, what is consuming too much time, what customers keep asking for, what appears to be underperforming, and what I should consider stopping. Finish with the three highest-impact actions I should take next week. Be direct and support your recommendations with the underlying data.

You can manually upload exports and documents, or connect supported services through plugins so ChatGPT can retrieve relevant information directly.

For solo operators, this is one of the more useful ChatGPT Astra use cases because it turns scattered information into something closer to a real operating system for the business.

Prompt #7: Give Your Landing Page an Uncomfortable Audit

BUSINESS

This one is for the digital marketers, or really anyone who’s familiar with landing pages. If you don’t know what a landing page is, then skip this section completely.

Sometimes your landing page doesn’t need another redesign.

Sometimes it just sucks.

Copy/paste prompt
Give Your Landing Page an Uncomfortable Audit
Open my landing page at [URL] and audit it as if your only job were increasing conversions. Evaluate the headline, offer, credibility, pricing, objections, calls to action, page structure, mobile experience, loading friction, and anything confusing or unnecessary. Then research five strong competitors or comparable products and show me where my page is weaker. Give me the five changes most likely to improve conversion rate and rewrite any sections that need work.

Astra’s browsing and computer-use abilities make this more interesting than simply pasting your landing page copy into ChatGPT. It can actually inspect websites and perform front-end QA work.

Prompt #8: Mine Customer Conversations for Product Ideas

BUSINESS

Your customers have probably already told you what to build.

Unfortunately, they spread the clues across 700 emails, reviews, support tickets, and calls.

Copy/paste prompt
Mine Customer Conversations for Product Ideas
Analyze these customer emails, reviews, support tickets, transcripts, survey responses, and notes. Group recurring complaints, requests, questions, desired outcomes, and points of confusion. Estimate how frequently each theme appears. Then identify the five strongest product or business opportunities hidden in the feedback, including why each matters and what I could build, change, or test in response.

You can upload this material manually or use relevant connected plugins. Gmail, for example, can provide email context if you’ve connected it.

Customer conversations can contain names, email addresses, billing issues, and plenty of other private information. Treat them accordingly and follow the law.

Prompt #9: Turn Your Messy Business Into SOPs

BUSINESS

If half your company exists inside your head, congratulations, you’ve created a single point of failure.

Copy/paste prompt
Turn Your Messy Business Into SOPs
Review the documents, notes, emails, instructions, screen recordings, and project materials I provide. Identify recurring business processes and turn them into straightforward SOPs another competent person could follow without asking me twenty questions. For each SOP, include the trigger, required inputs, exact steps, tools used, expected output, common failure points, and situations that still require human judgment. Also identify which steps could eventually be automated (or maybe the entire thing could be automated).

Google Drive and other document or knowledge plugins can make this considerably easier if that’s where your company’s information already lives. It’s what I’d recommend using.

Also, in case you missed it, we posted in the past about how to use ChatGPT to create SOPs. So, once you produce SOPs using the prompt from the article you’re reading, you can get a better-formatted version with the prompt from this post.

Prompt #10: Build a Competitor Intelligence Agent

BUSINESS

Your competitors are going to change their products whether you’re paying attention or not.

You might as well pay attention.

Copy/paste prompt
Build a Competitor Intelligence Agent
Research my three biggest competitors: [COMPETITORS]. Review their websites, pricing, onboarding, product positioning, public announcements, help documentation, and other relevant material. Create a competitor intelligence report showing recent feature launches, pricing changes, messaging changes, strengths, weaknesses, and anything they appear to be doing better than us. Separate genuine opportunities from things we should ignore.

You can take this further with ChatGPT Work by having Astra actually browse through competitor websites and publicly accessible product experiences.

Converting this prompt into a monthly recurring automation is also a good idea.

Prompt #11: Turn a Service Business Into Software

BUSINESS

Looking to start a business or side hustle?

This is basically asking Astra to hunt for service companies that might secretly be software companies waiting to happen.

Copy/paste prompt
Turn a Service Business Into Software
Pick one service business in [NICHE] and reverse-engineer exactly what it sells to customers. Break the service into steps, tools, inputs, outputs, human judgment points, repetitive work, and expensive bottlenecks. Then design the simplest AI product that could replace the first version of that service and reasonably charge a large fee per month. Include the MVP features, target customer, pricing, and how I could validate demand before building it.

Don’t take the resulting business idea as gospel. The interesting part is using Astra’s research abilities to investigate the workflow and expose pieces that might be automated.

Then go verify that real people will actually pay for it.

See it in action: Legora used Astra to check financial statements across 41 documents. According to OpenAI’s customer story, the run took minutes and found all four planted errors. It’s an example of software taking on a tedious professional task, with a human still reviewing the results.

Prompt #12: Build a Micro-SaaS From a Problem

BUSINESS

This is kind of similar to the last one.

Instead of brainstorming 400 startup ideas while showering, start with a real problem.

Copy/paste prompt
Build a Micro-SaaS From a Problem
Research people in [AUDIENCE] and find repetitive, annoying, expensive problems they currently solve with spreadsheets, manual research, copy-and-paste work, virtual assistants, or multiple software tools. Find one problem that could realistically be solved with a small AI-powered web application. Validate the problem using public evidence, define the MVP, design the user flow, propose pricing, and then build a functional first version I can test.

Astra is interesting here because it combines research and software engineering, so one job can potentially move from researching a problem to building something you can test.

For more serious development work, Codex is another logical place to use Astra.

This is also where ChatGPT Astra prompts start looking less like prompts and more like small startup briefs.

Prompt #13: Hire an AI QA Department

BUSINESS

Instead of finding out checkout stopped working because an angry customer emailed you three days later, go looking for problems first.

Copy/paste prompt
Hire an AI QA Department
Test my website or web app like a skeptical new customer. Go through signup, login, onboarding, checkout, account management, and the main product workflows. Test desktop and mobile experiences where supported. Document broken functionality, confusing UX, dead links, bad copy, visual problems, and anything that could hurt conversions. Rank every issue by severity and include screenshots when useful. Output your findings in a nicely designed visual report.

This is one of the more advanced ChatGPT 6 use cases because it takes advantage of Astra’s ability to interact with interfaces, not simply analyze screenshots or source code.

Use test accounts and sandbox payment systems whenever possible. Giving any automated machine unrestricted access to your production admin account is generally a very bad QA strategy.

See it in action: FloxoLab published a detailed Astra website-audit case study. The team reports finding form-validation problems, image-viewer accessibility issues, and a broken logo URL in structured data. Astra had access to the code as well as the website, and the team checked the findings before fixing them.

Prompt #14: Make a Cool Video Game

BOTH

Now is the best time to create a video game with AI.

The prompt, specifically, is tailored to businesses, but you can customize it to be for personal use. A custom video game can be used to help you increase sign-ups on your website, or as something you can market yourself.

Copy/paste prompt
Make a Cool Video Game
Build a beautiful, modern-looking browser game using this mechanic: [MECHANIC]. The game should connect naturally to my business, which sells [PRODUCT]. Make it entertaining enough that someone would willingly play for at least five minutes. Include progression, scoring, increasing difficulty, failure states, beautiful visuals, and one mechanic that encourages sharing. Add an optional email or SMS lead capture at a logical point, then explain how the game can funnel players toward my product without turning into an annoying advertisement.

Astra’s combination of coding and computer use means it can potentially build the game, run it, interact with it, find problems, and refine the result.

If you’re collecting emails or phone numbers, you’ll obviously need to hook the finished game into whatever legitimate email, SMS, or CRM system you use.

See it in action: These creators used their own prompts and processes, but their projects show just how cool this can get.

  1. A viral twitter post:
Post-Post-Apocalyptic Game Scene: The creator says the scene took half a day and describes AI-generated assets, movement, and combat. It’s an early game scene, so judge it as a prototype, but it’s very cool.
  2. Two very impressive 3D shooters posted on X/Twitter:

Wrapping It Up

The biggest change with Astra is that ChatGPT 6 prompts can now ask for much more than an answer. You can give it a goal, let it use tools, browse, analyze, build, and work through the steps.

That’s what makes many of these ChatGPT Astra use cases so interesting.

Whether Astra is actually AGI will be debated for a while. Either way, humanity apparently spent decades dreaming about artificial general intelligence so we could use it to find underpriced mountain bikes on Facebook Marketplace.

Just be smart about permissions and sensitive data, especially when connecting email, financial records, customer information, or business accounts.

Try a few of these ChatGPT Astra prompts and let me know in the comments below what you’re using Astra for.

Until next time, remember to run the prompts and prompt the planet.
