I recently decided to put Dzine.AI, an under-the-radar AI designing tool/suite, through its paces to see what it’s made of. Is it a real contender or just another AI poser?
The easiest way to describe Dzine.AI is this: it’s like a simplified version of Adobe Photoshop (or even a decently sized part of the Adobe suite), filled with generative AI features that you might find by using an assortment of separate tools and wrapped up in a user interface that values buttons over manual entry or complicated workflows.
After spending some quality time with it, cuddling and massaging it, I’m ready to give you a detailed, straightforward review. We’ll cover some real-world scenarios, highlight standout features, weigh the pros and cons, share valuable tips, and compare Dzine.AI with other design platforms like Canva and Adobe Express. Let’s party.
Some Real-World Use Cases of Dzine.AI
After messing with the tool extensively, I found that Dzine.AI can be useful across a variety of practical tasks and applications:
1. Social Media Graphics
Creating visuals for Instagram and Facebook posts usually takes more time than I’d like to admit. Probably because I don’t have an Instagram account, which means the clock is still ticking.
Dzine.AI simplified this dramatically. All you have to do is type in a simple prompt, add one of the many preset styles to it, like “Studio Photography,” click the “Prompt Improver” button, click the “Instagram” aspect ratio, and you get fresh, engaging social media visuals in around 30 seconds. It can boost your posting frequency and creativity with minimal effort. Go from one post per week to one per day in half the time.
2. Consistent Characters
Always a red-hot topic with designers, Dzine features a built-in Consistent Characters tool. It’s easy to use and works. I was impressed. Even the simplified characters workflow with Omni Reference in Midjourney feels like chemistry compared to this.
Here’s an example of the feature. I made Dick, my Creative Director. What a total loser. As always, he’s wearing a loser t-shirt or a loser suit.

3. Presentations
Visual storytelling is crucial during presentations. Similar to ChatGPT’s image gen, you can use Dzine to quickly generate cool infographic-style visuals. It can turn your boring presentation into one that’s a little less boring without spending hours doing manual design work.
4. Fun Projects
On the lighter side, Dzine.AI allowed me to turn my simple drawings into impressive 3D renders and cartoon avatars. Great for personal art or custom digital gifts, Dzine has the power to make creativity easy and enjoyable for most people. Midjourney and ChatGPT can do this too, but Dzine makes it even easier. If I wanted pure aesthetic shine and something highly specific, I’d still go with Midjourney, but raw speed calls for Dzine.

Key Dzine Features That Stand Out
Dzine.AI has a ton of AI-powered tools. There are so many that when I first scrolled through their website and saw all the tools it listed, I thought it was bullshit and that some of them probably didn’t work. Oddly enough, it’s legit.
1. AI Image Generation
Dzine supports text-to-image and image-to-image generation. You can choose from several popular image gen models, such as ChatGPT, FLUX, Google Imagen, and more.
2. AI Video Generation
One of its most popular features, for obvious reasons, is AI video generation. You can choose from several popular video generation models, such as Kling, Runway, Minimax, Luma, Framepack, and more. All the heavy hitters are there. Even Google’s viral Veo 3 model, although it will cost a pretty penny (1,200 credits for an 8-second video).
I’ve had a blast messing with Dzine’s video generator. Check out a cool video sample below.
3. AI Editor: AI Eraser, Insert Object, and More
These features made photo editing easy. The AI Editor includes Local Edit, Insert Object, AI Eraser, Generative Expand, and Hand Repair.
Insert Object is heavily influenced by Photoshop Generative Fill, which is a useful feature that allows you to easily add things to existing images. Generative Expand is another feature found in Photoshop. AI Eraser is similar to Apple Intelligence’s Magic Eraser. As mentioned previously, Dzine wraps up a bunch of tools you’re probably using (or want to use) from other platforms, makes them easier to use, and hands them to you.
4. AI Style Applications
Similar to Midjourney’s SREF (Style Reference), Dzine quickly transformed regular photos into awesome artistic styles. From watercolor effects to digital painting styles, I was amazed by the results.
The styles are all available for you in an easy UI selection menu (see below). You can also save styles and browse styles from other users. The style selection is similar to what you’ll find in Venice, which I’ve always been a fan of.

5. Face Kit
Face Kit includes the following: Face Swap, Face Repair, and Expression Kit. Face Swap allows you to easily swap your repulsive face with someone more attractive. Face Repair helps you fix blurry or distorted faces in images. Finally, Expression Kit… well, you guessed it, lets you change a person’s facial expression easily.
6. Lip Sync
Lip Sync lets you bring your characters to life. Just look at what I did to my Creative Director, Dick Smith:
You can select a voice for your character, give it a script, and let it go. However, keep in mind that so far I’ve had a tough time getting high-resolution videos out of this tool (see example above). Maybe that will change… or maybe I’m doing something wrong.
7. NSFW and Uncensored Content Generation
Dzine.AI also supports generating NSFW or uncensored content through its Wan2.1 and Framepack video models, which do not perform content detection on input images. This makes it possible to create more unrestricted content compared to tools like Midjourney or ChatGPT. However, keep in mind that NSFW mode requires the most expensive package at $60/month (or $30/month with an annual subscription). Even without the premium NSFW mode, Dzine allows greater creative freedom for generating less censored types of images, which is nice.
Pros and Cons
Before we jump into the pros and cons, a quick note: Dzine.AI is an affiliate partner of mine, meaning if you sign up through my affiliate link, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you (high five!). Rest assured, I genuinely use and love this tool myself, just like my other affiliates.
Pros
- Fast & High Quality: Consistently generates impressive visuals in minimal time.
- Ease of Use: Intuitive interface even for beginners.
- Comprehensive Toolset: Combines both creative generation and detailed editing.
- Affordable Pricing: Reasonably priced for getting so many different features. Pro tip: the yearly plan saves you around 50%, so if you’re sold on the tool, then just buy that.
- NSFW Mode is Awesome: An uncensored/NSFW mode is available with the Master plan.
- Multiple AI Models: Leverage many of the best available AI models, all on one platform, which can save you time and money if you pay for several tools at once.
Cons
- Initial Complexity: The vast number of features can feel overwhelming at first.
- Free Plan Limitations: Free outputs come with watermarks, limiting usability.
- AI Imperfections: Occasionally, the outputs from the tool were off-target. This occurs more often than with Midjourney and ChatGPT, but not so much more that it’s a huge issue.
- Limited Brand Tools: Lacks some advanced branding and templating features available in competitors.
- NSFW Price: This is only available with the Master plan and not in other plans. However, even without NSFW mode, Dzine is far less restrictive and censored than ChatGPT or Midjourney.
Tips and Tricks
Here’s how to maximize your experience with Dzine:
- Start with Specific Goals: Approach with clear objectives to avoid getting lost in the features, because there are a lot of them.
- Use the Prompt Improver: Use the built-in auto-prompt improver to refine your ideas for better AI outputs.
- Embrace Layers: Always use layers to maintain editing flexibility and precision. Have you used Photoshop? If so, then layers are no stranger to you.
- Community Resources: Leverage Dzine’s community forums and tutorials for inspiration and quick solutions.
- Experiment Freely: Don’t fear iteration; trial and error are a natural part of working effectively with AI.
- Save Favorites: Click the heart icon on a style to save it to your “Favorites” for easy reuse.
- Get Help on YouTube: Dzine’s YouTube channel is a great resource for learning all about the different features of the tool. One of the channel hosts is kind of cute, too.
Dzine.AI vs. Canva vs. Adobe Express
Canva
Canva excels in simplicity and quick, templated designs. However, it can feel restrictive creatively. Dzine is superior when originality and customization are needed because of the sheer amount of quality AI tools it delivers, which expands the range of what you’re able to create.
Adobe Express
Adobe Express offers excellent brand integration and template-driven designs. Yet, it falls short on advanced creative options and flexibility compared to Dzine. If you’re already deep in Adobe’s ecosystem, Express is great. For deeper creative tasks, Dzine is more powerful.
Dzine complements these tools well, especially when unique, original content is the priority.
Wrapping It Up
To sum up this Dzine review in one sentence, it has already become an important tool in my ever-expanding AI toolbelt. While it doesn’t entirely replace all other design tools, its ability to deliver unique, high-quality content quickly makes it a great option.
