It’s crucial to stand out. We live in an attention economy. One innovative approach that I’m sure you’ve never heard of is to create corny company jingles using AI tools like Suno or Udio and add them to the email you send your prospect. It’s an all-new cold outreach strategy that is just too good not to share.

I can vouch for this strategy because I used it to land a spot on a podcast! Check it out here at The Future of AI in Marketing.

This post will guide you through the process of creating a memorable jingle that can bring new leads to your business. It can also make your brand memorable, even if it’s for an interesting reason. More on that later.

Why Create a Company Jingle for Outreach?

Creating a jingle and putting it in your outreach email may seem dumb at first, but there are several compelling reasons to consider this tactic in your outreach strategy. A jingle can serve multiple purposes:

  • Stand Out: In a crowded inbox, a unique jingle can capture your attention and make your outreach more memorable. When was the last time you received a cold outreach email (i.e., spam) from someone and you remember what they said? That’s right, never.
  • Engage Emotion: Music has a way of evoking emotions. A fun jingle can bring a smile to someone’s face and create a unique association with your brand.
  • Conversation Starter: A jingle can serve as a conversation starter at first – if nothing else. It could crack the door wide open.

Step 1: Choosing Your Cold Outreach Target

(Cracks knuckles) The first step in creating a jingle is to identify the business, podcast, or specific contact you want to craft the song for. This choice will guide the content and style of your jingle. For instance, if you want to create a jingle for a podcast you like, visit their homepage to gather information about their brand. In the example below, I chose the Paid Search Podcast.

Step 2: Extracting “About Us” Text

Once you’ve selected your target (that sounds predatory, sorry), the next step is to gather relevant information. Look for a section on their website that describes the business or podcast. This text will provide the foundation for your jingle’s lyrics. Highlight and copy the text to use in the next step.

Step 3: Generating Jingle Lyrics with ChatGPT

Now that you have your target text, you can use ChatGPT to generate the lyrics for your jingle. That’s right: you’re using AI to write song lyrics that you’ll then use AI to make your song with. What a sick and twisted world.

Input the copied text along with a prompt asking for a “funny, corny, and catchy song with lyrics about this podcast.” The full prompt is in the screenshot. Make sure to specify that the lyrics should rhyme. The AI will produce a draft that you can refine to fit the desired length and tone. Don’t spend much time on it, though. Ideally, you’ll be sending a lot of these emails.

Step 4: Using Suno AI to Create the Jingle

With your jingle lyrics ready, it’s time to bring them to life using Suno, an AI music generator. Sign up for a free account on Suno’s website, if you haven’t already. If you can’t figure out the account creation on your own, however, then you’re probably a retard.

Once you’re in, select the option to create a new song, and paste your lyrics into the designated field.

Then, specify the style of music you want, such as “corny, hokey, catchy opera music.” That’s what I used for maximum comedic effect. You can use something else if you’d like.

Step 5: Review and Finalize Your Jingle

Suno will generate a couple of song options based on your input. Listen to the samples and choose the one that you think will have the biggest impact (think shock value). You may want to tweak the lyrics or the style based on what you hear. Remember, the goal is to create something that stands out and captures attention.

Real-World Outreach Strategy Example

To illustrate the effectiveness of this strategy, check out this example where I created a jingle for a podcast about Google Ads. The jingle included lyrics that highlight the podcast’s value, such as:

“Every week, we’re tuning in to Chris Schaeffer’s Google spin. Learn to boost your business game with ads that bring you Google fame.”

My personal goal here was to make my target literally cringe. Mission accomplished, I’m sure.

This catchy tune not only summarizes the podcast’s purpose but also makes it more memorable. And more dumb.

Wrapping it up: Boost Your Cold Outreach Strategy

Incorporating a catchy jingle into your cold outreach strategy can make a significant impact. Not only does it differentiate you from the competition, but it also adds a personal touch to your communication. So why not give it a try? Create a jingle that reflects your brand’s personality and watch how it enhances your outreach.
