Midjourney Interior Design: Awesome Penthouse Prompts!

Many people don’t realize you can use Midjourney for interior design to visualize the sickest penthouses or homes of your dreams easily. Even if interior design isn’t your thing (it’s not mine), I guarantee you’ll be drooling over these sick penthouse examples in this post.

Let’s clear something up right away: I don’t care who you are. Penthouses are cool. They’re aspirational, sleek, and scream, “I’ve made it.” Or potentially just “I’m house-poor.” One of the two.

I’ve been experimenting by running the prompts and fine-tuning them to perfection, and now I’m sharing the secrets with you. These prompts will help you create virtual penthouses so stunning you’ll want to live in them—or at least show them off on social media.

Speaking of which—whenever I post my penthouse designs on the Run The Prompts Twitter/X, the engagement is high. Elon got worried at one point, telling me things like, “Please, just stop. You’re winning too much. It’s too much traffic and engagement for our servers to handle.”

Here’s a preview of what you can expect. The prompts are further down in this post, so be sure to bookmark this page!

Why Midjourney for Interior Design?

I swear, interior design is one of the most underused and overlooked use cases for Midjourney.

Want a penthouse dripping in marble and gold? Done. Prefer some towering glass windows, multiple stories, an indoor pool, and a maid? Easy. Go crazy, and get greedy.

But Midjourney isn’t just for fun, okay? It’s a game-changer for creatives of all sorts, delivering fast, unique visual concepts without requiring a huge investment in professional design software or time.

I have an important message for anyone working in the interior design field: AI will transform your job. In 10 years, you won’t even recognize it. Midjourney (and other AI tools) will make visualizing interior design concepts 20 times easier and faster than ever before. Yes, some of you will lose your job. Others (the ones who run the prompts and learn to leverage AI) will soar above everyone else. Your choice.
